Firstly, The reading states that, American consumer is not paying too much attention to the eco-Certified products. Author argues that, they this that, this products are are and advertisement is not a trust worthy and genuine. However, lecturer said that, American Customer are have their faith in the certification agency. Additionally, he point out that, They choose their products favorably according the level of trust in that products.
Secondly, The test suggests that, Certified wood products are more expensive than normal wood. Author believe that, American consumers are more sensitive to price factor of products. That is why american companies are not much interested into cartification of their products. In contrast, The lacture stance that, Price factor is only affect the mindset of the person, when the price of same product is much more higher and lower. Moreover, He not out that small group of American are much more interested into conserving nature.
In the end, the writer argues that, American wood company would export their certified product in foreign market, at that time it can generate higher profit.
