The graph shows the result of a survey about the average number of people who visited a museum in summer and winter in 2003.
Overall, 12 o’clock was the most popular time among visitors in 2 seasons. Moreover, the number of visitors in summer exceeded that in winter.
Looking at more details in summer, there was a sharp increase to 13000 visitors in the first 11 hours in summer. After reaching a peak of about 1500 visitors at 12 o’clock, the amount of tourists fell gradually to 800 in the next 4 hours. Eventually, the number went down remarkably to zero from 4 to 6 p.m.
In terms of winter, the period from 0 to 10 o’clock witnessed a substantial rise of 400 visitors. Following that, the figure fluctuated over the 2 hours before the highest number was recorded at 12 o’clock, 600 visitors, less 2.5 times the figure in summer. From 12 to 15 o’clock, the number declined sharply from 600 to 0 and there are not any tourists in a museum in winter from 3 to 6 p.m.
