The diagrams illustrate the process of building an igloo.
The given pictures describe steps of building an igloo.
In general, there are 13 stages to complete an igloo with the first stage of finding hard-packed snow and the final step is cutting ventilation in the walls or roof.
To commence with, it is important to find the hard-packed snow. Then, a snow saw is used to slice this snow into several large blocks which are located at the base of an igloo. Next these snow blocks are smoothed all the edges by a snow saw, and placed to form a circle . An entrance is created by digging a hole under the wall before putting a block into the last opening on the top of the igloo.
In the next step, snow is thrown onto the igloo and packed into all crevices. Then, the inside of the igloo is smoothed by hand. After that, the entrance is built and the hole is covered with snow blocks. Finally, to complete the igloo, ventilation holes must be cut in the walls or roof to light up inside.
