The chart below shows the percentage of adults of different age groups in the UK who used the internet everyday from 2003-2006. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the percentage of adults in five different age groups in Great Britain who used the internet daily between 2003 and 2006.

Overall, it is clear that internet usage declined as age increased throughout the period. The youngest age group, 16-24, consistently had the highest percentage of daily internet users, while those aged 65 and over had the lowest. Additionally, all age groups showed an upward trend in internet usage over the four years, with some fluctuations in certain age groups.

In detail, the 16-24 age group started at 80% in 2003, remained the same in 2004, before peaking at 100% in 2005. However, it experienced a slight decline to about 90% in 2006. For the 25-44 age group, there was a steady increase in daily internet usage, rising from 50% in 2003 to just under 80% in 2006.

Similarly, in the 45-54 age group, internet usage grew steadily from around 60% in 2003 to 80% in 2006. The 55-64 age group, however, showed more variation, starting at approximately 30% in 2003 and climbing to around 50% in 2006, with a steady increase each year.

Finally, internet usage among those aged 65 and over remained the lowest throughout the period. In 2003, only about 10% of this age group used the internet daily, increasing slightly to around 15% by 2006.
