Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern, we find that some people hold the idea of understand ideas and concept meanwhile others advice to learn facts for students, from my point of view, it is more advisable to understand ideas rather than learn facts. My arguments for this point are list as follows. There are numerous reasons why students must understand ideas and I would explore only a few of the most important ones here.
The first reason why I agree with the above statement is that perception concept of issues helps to learn and memorize facts. For example, when students learn about water steam and its wonderful energy that can move objects, they can understand this fact that how the steam train works. Due to understanding ideas help to learn facts, I think it is necessary for students to understand ideas.
Additionally, understanding ideas helps student to create many facts. For instance, students learn the concept of designing a famous house after that they can design houses with alternative plans and one concept. Base on using concepts to make new facts, I think student should understand ideas.
Finally, I feel it is very required for students to understand ideas because they can change ideas to facts. Imagine that students learn how they can turn on one lamp in the electrical board by use of wire and lamp. Consequently, they can make a very complicated board by use of lamps for advertisement. Owing to understand ideas help students to use its benefit in their real life, I feel student must understand the concept.
To sum up briefly, I strongly believe that it is essential for students to understand the concepts than learn facts. I believe this because by using the concepts, the student can convert ideas to fact and create new facts and using concept in real life.
