Some movies are serious, designed to make the audience think. Other movies are designedprimarily to amuse and entertain. Which type of movie do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Movies has become very popular for the last couple of decades. Since there are big demand to this market, Proportionally,Much more film are being made. Romantic comedies and any other entertaining movie types are prefferd mostly. As a result, it force producers to fund that kind of movies. Unfortunately serious movies takes a back seat. Though it depends on my mood which type I prefer watching but I generally want to see a good acting with a realistic scenario which designed to make me think. My arguments for this attitude is listed as follows.

The main reason is for my propensity is that there are a lot of movies shooting lately, Most of them are comedies which lacks a good scenario, quality and acting. Because the audience prefers comedy and producers find it risky to fund drama or more realistic scenarios. Therefore they play their dice on comedies or romantic movies by choosing the easy way of earning money. Except of some animations I don’t remember when I watched a decent entertaining movie. All of them are shallow and cheap products. So it’s not that I don’t like the type, it’s a rare to find a good entertaining movie.

Another reason for my inclination is that I think when money concern involves in cinema, it drops the quality. We can clarify that by watching the independent movies, They are mostly decent ones because director doesn’t care about money. They make us to think the truths of the world like wars, poverty. Individuals can’t isolate themselves from these truths.

In addition, I like when a movie introduces me a new culture, their habits, traditions. I can’t find these in entertaining movies.

All in all, I like the movies that make me think, ask myself what would I do, and I don’t want to be the part of money concerning cheap products
