In twenty years there will be fewer cars in use than there are today

Most people believe that the usage of cars in the future will increse. From my presopective, this statement is true and I disagree with the question statement becausee of three main resoans. First, a the time we live, the technology of electric car is highly developed. Second, as the time passes, buying a car become easier because price become lower than past. Third, the population of the world is going to increae. I will explain my reasons in more detail in the next following paragraphs.
First, electric cars were look like a dream and unaccissable thing. However with the developent of technology and tanks to the engineers, electric cars are now even more cheapt than gasoline cars. As the technology goes further, the demand for buying an electric, clean and enviroment friendly car rather than an old tech. gasoline car have been increased. For example in the United States of America, tesla car are more popular rather than other brands because they are electric and clean.
Second, As the history show us, when every technology intrudoced to the public, the price at the first time were dreamy. For example, mobile phones were exclusively belonged to reach people who could pay a lot for a mobile phone. But what happening now is that evey single child has their own mobile phone.Cars are much like phones. as the time passes the price of cars would become lower and then eveyone can pay and have a car. So it is not surprising that cars in the future will be more than this time.
Third, Population of the earth is intensively increasing and as the result demand for more cars will increase. Imagine evey single person will need car. As the population increases, the cities will grow in size, so the distance between to locations will increase. This will force people to buy a car. For example people that use public transportaion like bus or subway, decide to have their own car to be more comfortable and ravel easier nd faster rather than wasting their time using bus or taxi or any other public trasportation.
In conclusion, cars number will become more in the future because electric cars are coming and people can buy car with lower price than past. Also the growth of population and size of the cities will persuade people to buy a car specially thoses who havn't ha car before.
