You cannot go to a company where you got an offer. Write a letter to the HR supervisor to:
» Explain the reason why you decline the offer
» Express your gratitude
» Explain why you like your current job very much.
Dear Sir,
My name is Truong Nguyen. I have received your email with the offer for a computer engineer spot in AAA company in Da Nang. I am glad to be invited to work in that position. However, I will have to decline this offer for some personal reasons.
Firstly, I do not think it is the right time for me to leave my current office in Ho Chi Minh City because I have worked here for over 5 years and reached a stable salary. In my current company, there are trusty colleagues to work with. Therefore, it is better for me if I stay with my group. In addition, I cannot leave my family to go move to Da Nang for work, it will be hassle for me to go back and forth every weekends to meet my wife and sons.
I am very proud that my works have been featured by the AAA company’s managers and thus, offered me a position. Although I cannot join your workforce, I still want to collaborate with your departments to develop some future softwares.
I am very sorry for the decline at the moment. However, please consider my returning offer.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
Truong N.
