In detail, it can be explained that the purpose of using water for agriculture was accounted for the highest in 4 areas including Central Asia(88%), Africa(84%), South Asia(81%), and South America(71%). One the other hand, the amount of water used for domestic in Africa was almost similar to that in 3 other areas, or at 8% on average. Similarly, the amount of water used of industry in 4 mentioned areas, or at 10% on average.
Finally, it is interesting that the water using for industry was considered the highest in North America and Europe because the amount of water used for industry in North America was almost a half of total water used(48%), while that in Europe was over a half of water used, or at 53%.
