Write a letter to change the topic of your presentation at the upcoming conference.
1) Why do you want to change?
2) What will be your new topic?
3) What equipment do you need at the time of your presentation?
DEAR SIR OR MADAM,
I am aware that I am a little late to address the issue, but I feel it be appropriate to write to you as a lot is at stake in the upcoming conference. Allow me to elaborate.
As you are aware, I have been bestowed the task of giving a presentation on Company Law Act, 1996. However, it has come to my knowledge that the act has been repealed by a recent notification circulated by the government. Further, I do not think it to be appropriate to have a presentation on the said topic.
However, the conference is to address the concerns of the employees of the organization on wider issues. Further, our company does not have anybody to highlight the recent hot topic of “Sexual Harassment at Workplace”. There has been a spike in number across the world of women facing harassment at workplace. As such, I think it will be better to address the topic which is hotly debated.
I have everything prepared from my end to address all the queries, issues and questions that the employees from our company will swing at me. However, I will need a projector with a remote, portable mic and print out of worksheets that I will e-mail a day prior to the conference.
I hope you will accede to my request.
Yours faithfully,
Brad Jason
