There are 4 stages that is from, eggs to adult moth. The process of silk cloth manufacturing includes steps from raw material to silk cloth material.
The life cycle starts as soon as the moth lays eggs. After 10 days, the egg hatch and they larvae comes out from eggs ; who feed on mulberry leaves. After 4-6 weeks the silk thread begins to develop. Within 3-6 days, the full cocoon develops.
Moreover, for the silk cloth production, the raw material is boiled in water and further deaereated. For final step, the thread is either be dyed or first weaved and then dyed.
