In this set of materials the reading passage discusse that some of palentologists do not accept that the Prerosaurs were able to flying. While in ythe listening the professor casts doubts on what is peresented in the text and believes that the recent finding shows that the Prerosaurs are completely capable top flying.
First of all, in the text it is clearly mentioned that the Prerosaurs were cold blood animal and so the rate of their metabolism could not provided enough enery to support flight. However, the professor claims that they had very dense hair over arpound their body like some of today worm blood animals. This dense cover hepled them to maintain their body tempretur and their body metabolism can produce enough energy to supply flight.
In addition, the professor diagrees with this idea that the weight of Prerosaurs could provided dam for flight. She says that this animals had very light hallow bons. Presence of this light bons insted of dense bones made their body weight low enough and able them to flight.
Finally, in the text it is stated that the palentologists do not find any evidence that shows that palentologists like todays birds had the ability of take off that this ability is necessary for flying. The professor subscribes that there is one important different between birds and palentologists. the birds have two logs but palentologists had four legs palentologists like bits and this four legs could push them to take off.
