In the time of education development ,every aspect of life needs taking into consideration.Several people believe that it is crucial for children to start learning a foreign language as they start school,other argues that children who enter secondary have better linguistic ability to learn a second language.I am absolutely agree with the former idea for the following reasons.
First,it is believed that by dint of learning a foreign language in primary school, children perform quite well in their study.For instance ,facts have shown that children who study a second language have an ability to study academic subjects faster than monolingual students. Moreover, bilingual students who break language barrier easily show multitasking abilities due to seeking valuable source from the internet.
Futhermore ,It is undeniable that children who approach new language from early age surpass considerably the rest in communication skills. Specifically ,no sooner do foreign language like English become well-known in over the world than children can make use of this to maintain the relationship with other when they live in foreign countries.In addition ,this also help them to understand the culture and tradition of other nations.
In the other hand,children in under 12 do not know a profound knowledge about the structure and grammar so learning the second language may limit them only in some superficial information like words,speak language and listening.In fact, they can hardly Also ,they may lose their impatient and easy to distract themselves on video games or cartoon film instead of studying.
In conclusion, many researches in increasing learning ability have been accomplished in the world. One of the most important of them is offering an early foreign language program when students are in primary school. It is thought that benefit of this is more than drawbacks
