Beginning with cars, it can be seen that, 5 million English passengers drove cars for 10 years (1970-1980) to move between areas. In 2000 the number of motorists rose significantly to approximately 7 million. Then it remained stable until 2010. The expectation for the number of commuters will grow to around 8 million and 9 million in 2020, and 2030 respectively.
Moving to the use of trains, the number of commuters was around 2 million in 1970, then increased gradually to 3 million in 2000. The number remained the same until 2010. While the prediction of travelers by train will jump rapidly to 5 million, which is less than using cars.
Finally, it can be witnessed, the bus was the basic means of transportation in their movement in 1970, around 4 million, whereas this number will be decreased slowly to 3 million by 2030, which the lowest means of transportation in 2030 by UK passengers.
