The graph below shows the unemployment rates in the US and Japan between March 1993 and March 1999.
The line graph describes unemployment data of the US and Japan from March 1993 to March, 1999. It can be clearly seen that, the amount of unemployed people went down significantly in the US, while joblessness rates showed upward trend in Japan.
According to the graph in 1993 there were considerably more people without a job in the US in comparison with Japan (7% versus 2.5%). Then, in the USA, the percentage of unemployment went down persistently reaching to 5% in 1996. That downfall was followed by consistence for the next three years.
