During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact
him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.
Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter
Remind him when and where you met
Tell him what kind of job you are interested in
Say why you think you would be suitable for the job
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing with regards to my interest to work at your restaurant.
I hope you remember that we had met on flight EK 35 which was flying from Dubai to Toronto on 5th September. My seat was next to you and we also had a good conversation about your business. During our communication I precisely remember that you had mentioned about various job opportunities at your food chain.
Fortunately, I am seeking a job in accounting and finance department and I will be keen to explore the opportunity of an accountant at your restaurant. In addition to this, I have done my masters in Human Resource Management. Hence, I can extend my hand to human resource team as well.
Also, prior to this I was employed at Chipotle restaurant as Accounts and Administration Manager due to my profound knowledge and experience. I firmly believe that my skills and qualification will add an value to your restaurant.
I look forward to seeing your positive response.
Yours sincerely,
Jeshika Ayri
