the positive and negative impacts of the eco torism?
The article states eco-tourism, or the green tourists is entirely a good thing, and provides tree reason of support. However, the professor states all the news have positive, and negative impact. She refuses each point, and explains them.
Firstly, the reading claims that eco-tourism serves as a substitute for the development that would be more dangerous. However, the professor refutes this point by saying, in eco-tourism you exhibit your natural resources, such as forests, but to keep the tourist satisfied, and comfortable you will provide them an accommodation, by building infrastructure. Thus this is also a big damage for the environment.
Secondly, the reading posits that since those areas attract the tourist to keep their attention on them the government will protect them. The professor says, this is not certain. People might do illegal cutting trees, and hunting. There is no guarantee people will not exploit that area.
Third, the author says, from eco-tourism the local people will also, get benefit. However, the professor opposes this point by saying there are more jobs than past, local people will have the less wage. Additionally, we learn that governments can use some of the funds to protect the environment. This is the party all of the sites get mutual benefit.
