The chart shows the proportion of renewable energy in total energy supply in 4 countries from 1997
to 2010.
The given chart illustrate the amount of renewable energy in relation to total energy in four different countries since 1997 till 2010. In overall view, it can be seen that Iceland has the much amount of renewable energy in three survived years. Also, the consumption of new energy has increased from about 45 in 1997 to 70 in 2010.
On the other hand, Turkey which has the second much proportion of renewable energy, showed a fluctuation. The usage of new energy was roughly 38 in 1997 but it has risen to a bit more than 40 in 2000. While it decreased to about 32 in 2010.
Sweden experienced a similar pattern with Iceland where the amount of renewable energy has an upward trend and it has gradually increased from 5 in 1997 to just less than 10 in 2010.
The noticeable point is about the usage in Australia which showed a downward trend. In other words, proportion of this kind energy has the maximum amount in 1997 by about 10, but it has declined to about 5 in 2010.
