You live in a room in college which you share with another student.
However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
• describe the situation
• explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
• say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter in reference to highlight some issues with the current accommodation I am sharing with another student in the Youth hostel. I have recently joined the hostel and was allocated room no 1078 in the New building complex. I would like to bring to your notice some problems which I am facing
Firstly the room space is very small, and there are no shelves to keep your belongings additionally there is no table and chair in the room thus it is difficult to study in the room. The room does not have proper ventilation thus it is very difficult to stay inside as if there is a lot of suffocation. Secondly, there is a lot of noise coming from the adjacent rooms which makes it difficult to study.
So in the above context, I would ask you to arrange a separate accommodation for myself which will be able to discuss the above issues.
I look forward to your immediate response and resolution on the same.
Yours sincerely
vinshu
