The line graph illustrate the amount of fish and different kinds of meat ( Chicken, Beef and Lamb) which were consumed by european people from the year 1979 to 2004. Units are measured in grams.
Overall, the consumption of Beef and Lamb decreased over the given period, while chicken, it rose.However, fish kept the lowest position throughout the time. At the start of the period, Beef was the most popular, which was replaced by chicken from 1989 to 2004, and following that lamb and fish were still at the lowest position in the end of the period.
With regards to the amount of Beef used, it begins at around 200 grams in the start of the period and slightly increased up to 240 grams before falling dramatically at about 100 grams in the last year. Likewise, approximately 150 grams of Lamb was eaten in the year 1997 after which the figure fluctuated slightly and dropped to a lowest position that is almost up to 60 grams in 2004. Furthermore, fish was in the decreased position in the starting year which was above 50 grams and by the end of the year it was not increased or decreased but was quite stadely to 50 grams respectively.
On the other hand, the consumption of chicken was 150 grams in the fist year and the european people started consuming it to the highest level. However it peaked up to 250 grams in the end of the period.
