Overall, it is clear the significant impact was on transportation and communication and in electricity, gas, and water supply, on the other hand, domestic and other industries consumed the lowest acid rain.
The most acid rain created was in electricity, gas and water supply with approximately 3.5 million tonnes in 1991, whereas, transportation and communication produced marginally 2 million tonnes. Other industries and domestics sectors contributed about 0.5 million tonnes in 1991, however, industries remained constant, while domestic dropped down to 0 tonnes. In 2007, transportation and communication product twice as less of 1991 with 1 million tonnes. Electricity, gas and water supply gradually dipped down to 0.5 million tonnes.
