The line graph elucidates the information about the percentage of unemployed people in the US and Japan during March 1993 to March 1999.
It is evident from the given line graph that in March 1993 the unemployment rates were high with 7.0%. in US, whilts in Japan it was almost 2.0 percent. However, the proportion of unemployment reduced by 2.5 % in March 1995 and remains approximate same for next two year. On contrary, percentage of work force was increased in Japan and reached to 3.5 % with some fluctuations in March 1996.
Leaping further, it is vivid from the line graph that in the year 1997 rate of unemployed people went down to 5.0 percent in US and in Japan it was increased to 3.5%.Furthermore, after one year unemployment rate in Japan becomes 4.0% and in US rates were reduced to 4.5% in March 1998. Interestingly, in March 1999 unemployment rate becomes same in Japan and US that is 4.5 percent. Afterthat, rate of unemployment start increasing and US was decreasing over the time period.
Overall, it can be said that the ratio of unemployed people in Japan was increased each year. Whereas, US managed to control the unemployment problem with the time. However, initially Japan had less unemployment rate than the US.
