The map illustrates the alterations in Jakarta between 1950 and 2000. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the number of hotels in 2000.
To begin with, 1950 to 1975 witnessed significant changes for the amount of four additional hotels, which one was located beside 2 hotels and opposite a dock in previous time and others were replaced in the opposite of the three docks and beside a hotel in 1950. Furthermore, there were new lane roads which had been developed in the place of lane road in previous time. In contrast, the existence of the docks and the beach remained unchanged over the following 25 years.
In accordance with next alterations, the number of hotels uplifted dramatically from 1975, which was at 7 hotels, to 2000, which made up to 13 hotels, and all of it run alongside the beach and the lane road. The presence of the beach, additionally, had been relocated to the southwest of the previous place where a new airport was constructed in the east part of the town. In contrast, the existence of docks had been permanently erased by the end of period shown.
