Overall, LaGuardia had the highest number of visitor at airport in 2000. While, the trend for number of travellers at John F. Kennedy fluctuated slightly throughout the period.
As the graph shows, According to LaGuardia airport, the number of dwellers who used the airport for traveling accounted, at 35 million in 1955 and the figure increased steadily throughout the period and ended up with 69 million passengers, the highest figure among three airport. Secondly, New York had the lowest number of passengers in 1955 at 15 million but then it experienced a rise till 1998 with 27 million commuters afterwards it reminded constant during the two years of period from 1998 to 2000.
In terms of John F. Kennedy, the figure for passengers started with 25 million in 1995. After witnessing a rise to 47 million in 1997, the usage of airport among travellers decreased by 15% until 1999. But in the last, it ended up 43 million people use the airport in John F. Kennedy in 2000 that was slight higher than Newark.
