ne graph illustrates the proportion of visitors to UK who went Brighton attractions between 1980 and 2010.
At first glance, it was noticeable that every lines of the attraction had shown some fluctuation, expect festival. The percentage of tourists who went to festival had reached the highest point on 1980, however had declined to below 30% in the aforesaid period. pier, on the other hand, had the least visitors in the first 20 years, but since 2000, visitors to pier had risen suddenly and reached a peak which was 22% approximately.
As the graph demonstrates, the art gallery had the best point in year of 1985 which was almost 40%. For the next 25 years, it had dipped significantly and become the least popular. In addition, Pavilion, the second popular in 1980 had surged, which had shown upward and downward trend but still remained the most popular attraction among others.
To sum up, it was evident that tourists were fond of shopping than visiting others attraction since 1990.
