The given charts demonstrate the change of frenton town over two decades starting in 1990.
Overall, it is immediately clear that the main street, which run over from the south to north of the town, divided this location into 2 parts with a similar square. Beside that Frenton witnessed two modernized huge changes, as well as the green area seemed to shrink and the remainder was the development of the residential zone and the service.
As can be seen from 1990, the majority of the areas was covered with trees, experiencing significant changes during the next 22 years, exactly the tree zone at the center of town( cafe and park) was cut down in order for erecting the hotel and golf course. Furthermore, the playing field with trees was disappeared and replaced by a new housing zone with a range of blocks of flats. A noticeable is the trees at the west south corner, being babied carefully in Technopark.
22 years later, other outstanding features are the growth of qualities of commercial zone and residential area. The hospital was extended nearly three times as its square before. The new facilities were installed, transferring from theatre and shops to cinema and supermarket respectively. Moreover, a new restaurant was constructed next to the hospital. Despite many developments occurred, the educational areas( school, library) in the left of the main street did not experience any changes over this period.
