The pie charts below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production of France in 1995 and 2005
The two pie graphs compare the various kind of energy production of France in two different years (1995 and 2005).
Overall, it is clearly shown that for both years, the most significant energy source came from gas and coal. The least among the five energy produced is coming from other energy sources. In all types of energy production there was only a minimal change over the ten year period.
In 1995, coal production was almost a third of the total proportion with one percent increase after 10 years with a total of 30.93%. Likewise, gas generated 29.63% which rose marginally to 30.1% after a decade.
With regards to other energy sources, petrol had a decrease of almost ten percent accounting to 29.27% in 1995 and 19.55% in 2005. In contrast, it is noted that there is an approximately five percent growth in production from both nuclear power and other resources accounting to 10.10% and 9.10 %, respectively.
