Using the information in the diagram, write a description of how a refrigerator works.
You may use your own knowledge and experience in addition to the diagram.
The provided diagram illustrates the working process of a refrigerator.
Initially, a cool high-pressure liquid flows through the capillary tube, then it will be heated up by the evaporator heat from food within the refrigerator to become a warm low-pressure gas. In the next step, this gas continues its way to a compressor which will turn the warm low-pressure gas into a hot high-pressure gas. At this stage, the high temperature still remains and waits for the next step to be released.
In the second part of the process, the hot high-pressure gas will go to a condenser. The condenser which consists of a complicated network of tubes will act as an important part of the refrigerator to transfer the heat of the high-pressure gas into the atmosphere. After that, the cool high-pressure liquid will come out at the other side of the condenser and a new circle will be begin.
Overall, it is quite simple to imagine the way a standard refrigerator works. Nowadays, with the strong development of science and technology, we may see many types of more complex refrigerators in the daily life.
