From 1963 to 2007, the area around the river was developed into a residential area in the northeastern of the city. The number of trees located in the northwest was dropped significantly during the period of 71 years.
A new shopping centre was built in the center of the town, when the post office, bank and library were remained. The sweet shop and butchers were replaced with a supermarket. Across the post office, there was a new travel agent, right beside the bank, where the flower shop used to be. The bike path was redesigned as a road. In the southeast, the government offices were converted into a museum, and the farmland beside turned into a golf course.
