CO2 emissions for different forms of transport in the European Union and the percentage of funds being spent on different form of transport
The bar chart gives information about CO2 emissions for different forms of six transports in the European Union. The pie chart also provides the comparison of European Union expenditure being spent on eight different types of transportation. Overall, as can be seen that the highest amount of CO2 emissions happened to be in air transportation whilst the biggest funds spent in road expense clearly and measured in percentage.
Looking at the first chart initially, the most positive movement CO2 discharges had to be in air transport which reached up to 327 grammes per passenger-km approximately. Then, the passenger cars was the next highest CO2 emissions which marked around 125 grammes per passenger-km. Contrastingly, the remaining transport which those were buses, maritime, rail, and coaches trends happened to be around 45 until 60 grammes per passenger-km, thoroughly the coaches seem as the lowest trend.
Regarding to the second chart, the largest transport expense had to be invested in roads which counted at 52% exactly. The second largest percentage obviously plotted in railways sector which stood at 31% respectively. Then, it was followed by public transport expenditure spent at 10%. Reversely, there were minor expenses remained specifically ports, intermodal, inland waterway, airports, and unknown which percentage happened to be 1-2% approximately.
