The pictures give information about five stages of the silkworm from eggs to moths and the steps in the process of making silk cloth.
We can see that there are four distinct stages for the egg grow to be a mature moth. And the production of silk cloth consists of five steps.
The eggs require ten days to become a silkworm larva which feeds on mulberry leaves. After four to six weeks, the larva can produce silk thread and the larva stays in the thread. The cocoon is then made after three to eight days. Finally, the moth will destroy the cocoon after 16 days to be a moth.
The production of silk cloth begins with selecting cocoons and then people need to boil them in the water in a container. Next, the thread needs to be unwound to be as long as 300 to 900 meters. At the fourth stage, workers twist the thread and dye it. Also, the thread can be dyed after being weaved on a board.
