The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving collage in 2008.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar charts give information about four different choices of graduate and postgraduate students in the UK after graduation in 2009.

It is noticeable that the majority of graduates pursued further study when they graduated. For postgraduates in the UK, most of them did part-time jobs and continued their study.

In 2008, nearly 30 thousand graduates went on studying. Part-time work was the second most popular choice, with 17735 students. By contrast, only 3500 students did voluntary work. Also, there still existed a lot of students who didn't get employed, around 16 thousand.

More than 2500 students wanted to do part-time jobs and pursue further study. To be precise, 2725 continued study after graduation and 2535 got part-time jobs. The equivalent figure for voluntary work was 345, the least one among four destinations. In terms of the unemployment, around 1600 students got no jobs, approximately half the number of those continuing study.
