To begin with, it is apparent from the pie chart that over-grazing was the major cause of land degrading on the world scale which constituted 35%. Following that was deforestation occupying 30% nearly similar to over-cultivation's statistic of 28%. besides, minor reasons are classified as 'Other' and accounted for 7%.
Moving on to the table data, obviously, Europe was leading the proportion of land degraded of 23%. Moreover, deforestation and over-cultivation's rate was also the highest among 3 areas with 98% and 7.7% respectively. Meanwhile, the most striking feature was Oceania's figure, despite being extremely effected by over grazing, this group of island experienced 0% of over-cultivation's. besides, North America had the least percentage of land degradation because all of its statistics were no more than 5%.
