Generally, it can be seen that there were upward trends in the amount spent on beef, chicken, potatoes, milk whereas coffee witnessed a downward trend.
It is clear that the expenditure on chicken and potatoes were a steep increase over a decade, it rose 18 and 7 million euros, respectively. To specify, although the amount spent on beef reached a nadir at 41 millions of euros in 2002, the trend was upward. Like the amount spent on beef, the number of money spending on milk had a dip fall in 2002 and immediately rise by 6 millions of euros, at 14 millions of euros in 2012.
On the other hand, only the figure for coffee decreased 2 millions of euros from 1992 to 2002, it stabilized at 7 millions of euros for the next 4 years. Meanwhile, the money spending for butter/margarine remained stable at 8 millions of euros although it had a marginal increase in 2002.
