Overall, the most amount of time was spent through local lines in all the years, whereas the least was through mobiles. Furthermore, the longest time spent was through local lines in the year 1999, while the lowest was in 1995 through mobiles.
Although the number of minutes spent on local lines increased gradually from around 70 billion in 1995 to reach its highest point of 90 billion in 1999, it then decreased steadily over the next few years and dipped at approximately 68 billion in 2002.
National and international fixed lines kept a gradual increase in time between 1995 and 2002 (started at about 37 billion to peak at around 60 billion minutes). Also, the time spent on mobiles rose during the mentioned period (started at about 2 billion in 1995 and peaked at nearly 40 billion in 2002).
