The chart indicates the percentage of five different age groups 18-25, 26-35, 36-50, 51-65 and more than 65 years old people offering donations to charity during 1990 and 2010 in Britain.
Overall, people offering money to charity work is higher in age group of 36-50 (1990) whereas much lower in group 18-25 years old (2010). The charitable offering declined in 2010 by three age groups and risen by two age groups compared to year 1990.
In year 1990, the age group of 18-25 offered 18% of charitable funds which was higher in 26-35 and 36-50 groups (31% and 41% respectively). However, in same year the age groups 51-65 and >65 offered lower amount to charity (35% and 32% respectively).
The amount given to charity foundations in 2010 were lowered to 6%, 24% and 35% by age groups 18-25, 26-35 and 36-50. In contrast, the percentage rised in 29% and 35% by 51-65 and >65 years old people compared to the year 1990.
