People living in large cities have to face many problems in everyday life. What are those problems? Should the government encourage people to move to regional towns?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
The generation nowadays is far different from the life before and people are more exposed to the increasing demands of life. While some say that the only option they can have is to move to rural areas and start a new life, I am of the opinion that they must be adaptive to this constant change. Certain measures can be effectively taken for them to cope with issues at hand.
One of the problems people have is the high standard of life they have to put up with such as the cost of living in urban areas and the time they have for work. These lead a person to be more stressed and unable to cope up with other aspects of life. In addition to this, their security and safety is at risk because they are more inclined to be influenced by certain vices and harmful diversional activities present within the society. This is rampant in the areas in the BPO industry where workers engage themselves in the usage of prohibited drugs, drinking alcoholic beverages and multiple sexual activities. As a result, they become unproductive and at risk to serious illnesses.
However, it is never an option to leave the life in the city and move to the countryside. There are things that can help these career-minded individuals to cope up with the demands of the city life. They can take the time off and go on vacation leaves. This does not only refresh them, but this could also provide them an opportunity to explore the beauty of nature. Furthermore, they can practice time management and engage in sports activities apart from work. For instance, they can go to sports complex to do jogging or train for obstacle course racing as such activities helps them to be healthy and strong rather than having vices.
As a whole, having a life in the city can be debilitating especially when one cannot cope with the increasing demands being asked. However, certain options may be applied to aid an individual to survive the challenges in the long-term.
