As illustrated by the two charts, the young generation have a tendency to spend the largest amount of their time on social networking whereas making reservations seems to gain the most popularity among older individuals.
Evidently, the 18-26 age group prove their prevailing position over the counterpart as regards to the time allocation for three following activities. To specify, the younger individuals devote 24% of their leisure time to connecting to the Internet, slightly higher than the corresponding figure for the elderly (21%). It is also noticeable that young people’s time dedicated to gaining access to music or films represents a high percentage of 21% as opposed to a 5% lower figure witnessed in that of the 60-70 year olds. People aged from 18 to 26 spend roughly three times more playing games than the older group, which constitute 18% and 5% respectively.
