The chart below show population statistic in two countries of the UK from 1700 to 2000
The aforementioned bar charts illustrate changes in the population statistic in two countries in the UK namely England and Wales over a 300 years period starting 1700.
Looking at these charts, it is noticeable that although the population was lowest in 1700 but the birth rate and death rate were the second place in the chart. Meanwhile, an opposite pattern was true for that in 2000.
To begin with the population statistic, as can be seen that this amount had an upward trend with a mere 5 million people existed in UK in 1700, followed by a growth dramatically at just over 25 million people in 1900 before reaching a peak of 400 million people in 2000.
Turning to birth rate and death rate. The percentage of residents who were given a birth account for 30 percent among 1000 people in 1700. Ever having a rank first in 1800 with more than 35 percent, the last year surveyed witnessed a significant drop of this percentage at 25 percent, be equivalent to that in 1900. A similar pattern was shown in the prpotion of death
