The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010
The bar chart illustrates the daily physical activities performed in 2010 by the Australian men and women in alternate age groups in percentage. The age groups varies from 15 to over 65.
Firstly taking the age group from 15 to 24 in which male performed 52.8% and female did 47.7 %. Males and Females in age groups between 25 to 34 saw a drastic decrease for male performing physical activities which is 42.2%, but female group increased to almost 49%. Next age group from 35 to 44 resulted decrease in performance of male to 39.5%. Though male percentages reduced, female physical activity kept increasing and reached 52.5%. The female age groups between 45 to 64 kept the percentages in equal level almost reaching 53.3%. But the male group between 45 to 64 slightly increased their physical activites by increasing the percentage upto 45.1%. The older male and female groups almost did equal physical activities which is 46.7% and 47.1% respectively.
Overall from the chart it is evident that female age groups between 35 to 64 did the maximum number of physical activities than the male group excluding ages between 15 to 24.
