The chart shows the amount of money per week spent on fast foods in Britain.
The bar chart gives data regarding expenditure on fast foods spent weekly by three largely income groups in Britain.
Overall, there is a significant positive relationship between income and consumed hamburgers among British people, indicating that the higher levels of income earned, the more hamburgers consumed. However, this relationship is not strong, but still significant for the portion of pizza consumed each week.
It is clear that among three different fast foods, hamburgers are interested in British people that are in high and average-income groups, spending on which more than 40 and 30 pence each week. By contrast, just 14 pence spent on hamburgers by people with low income. Similarly, the high-income group spent 19 pence on buying pizza, followed by average-group with 10 and then low-income one with just 6 pence.
However, it seems that the above trend is not reflected in consuming fish and chips by groups. While average-income people use the high rate of fish and chips spending just under 25 pence per week, fish and chips appear not to be their favorite fast food, spending 18 pence, which is similar in low-income people.
