The USA emitted the largest amount of carbon emissions for all three years. It increased from 120000 thousand metric tonnes in 1975 to 1600000 thousand metric tonnes by 2005. China's emissions doubled from approximately 300000 in 1975 to about 600000 in 1990, and it again doubled nearly to 1500000 by 2005. In contradiction from the USA and China, Germany's gas emissions decreased slightly from about 300000 in 1975 and 1990 to 200000 by 2005. Additionally, in United Kingdom carbon emissions declined too, from about 180000-160000 between 1975 and 1990 and growed to approximately 170000 in 2005. Canada's carbon emissions increased slightly during all three years to match UK. Gas emissions in India rose from approximately 80000 in 1975 to 380000 in 2005.
Overall, the USA and China were the biggest contributors of gas emissions during 1975, 1990 and 2005.
