Overall, it can be seen that participants of male and female in the Olympic in 2012 is highest, and participants of Olympic always increase.
Looking at the bar chart in more detail, it is evidence that in 1924 there were hardly any women entering the Olympic whereas there were 3000 participants of male. Until 2012 the gap in the number of men and women who have entered in the Olympics has been significantly fell from nearly 3000 participants to approximately 1500 participants.
Moving to the line chart, it is clearly that the number of people who have entered the Olympics also rose in rage of over 2000 in 1924 to over 10000 in 2012. The most significant Olympic participants increase occurred between 1984 and 2012 from over 6000 to over 10000 participants.
