The maps below show the center of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
The maps describes the current layout of Islip town center and proposed plans for its renovation. Overall,the Islip town center is expected to huge changes with new facilities such as dual carriage away,shopping center and bus station.
At present,small shops are situated on the either side of the main road.In the north wing, landscape of the rural area is present .in the south wing, houses are present ,a school and park are located on either side of south side.
Regarding future plans, proposal for a dual carriage away surrounding the town center is expected. Main road is set to be changed to footpath for pedestrians. the shops in the north are replaced by shopping center including bus station and car parking on either side of it. New houses are expected to built on north and south east wings. School is enlarged and built out of the ring road.
