‘Technology is a fire around which human race tells its story’. Gone are the days when people were depended only on schools or colleges for academic courses. Ever since the dawn of civilisation, world has gone through enormous changes and reaping benefits of technology and advancement is one of them. There is segment of people who opine that there are more advantages of online courses rather than disadvantages. Key advantages pertaining to given statement are mentioned and elaborated in following paragraphs.
To commence with, the root cause behind given topic at hand and given positive development is easy availability of technical gizmos and internet. Improved technology has made it easy to access online content like videos or video conferencing which is necessity of pursuing online education. The utmost advantage of access to online courses is flexible timings and learning. For instance, both students and professionals can reap its benefits; it is a merit, because students can enrol on additional syllabus simultaneously with busy schedule of academic studies. For working professionals, just one click during spare time of office schedule or evening classes can help them to access all the course material. An interesting argument is that even in remote areas, people can access same education and knowledge as provided to urban areas students.
Moving forth, although, lack of expert guidance can be barrier in learning courses as virtual learning experience without proper guidance of mentor cannot bring same results as compared to real teaching sessions, because Colleges and institutions prevails in availability of face to face teachers as per students requirements. However, merits of given statements outweigh its demerits as one can learn multiple skills by these online courses parallel, for example – using technological gadgets and being familiar with them, which further helps in both personal and professional growth of an individual. Virtual courses have made wider availability of quality education possible as mentioned beforehand. Various diplomas and certificate courses are not limited to educational institutes only.
In my opinion, people should change themselves with changing technology to learn about operating and handling gadgets so that everyone can reap the benefits of online education.
It can be concluded that it depends on us a rightful discrimination and wisely taken decisions would lead mankind towards a bright and bountiful future.
