How are you? I hope you are doing well. I am writing to apologizing as I would not be able to come to your house for two weeks.
I know you have started preparation but I am extremely sorry, I would not be able to make it. Yesterday, I had a meeting with my staff and my secretary reminded me about my meeting in Bengaluru. In such a busy and hectic schedule, it just skipped from my mind and I made a plan to visit you. I am really feeling ashamed about it.
I have to leave for my meeting next Friday and I will be back by Monday evening. The meeting is related to a new product which my company is going to launch in the market very soon and I cannot delay it as it is a very big opportunity for my company.
Your birthday is approaching next month with certain other events such as Christmas and New Year. I was deciding to visit you in the last week of December. We will be able to celebrate all the three occasions together, if possible from your end.
I hope you will accept my apology and write me back soon if you agree with the plan.
