The diagram below show the water supply system in Australia at present and in future.
The diagrams gives information about, existing source of water supply in Australia and the strategy of the upcoming years.
Overall, it can be from both the diagrams that the main change in water supply system was recycling of water in the city. In future none of the water will be released to the river.
The current water supply system, the water is stored in a dame before it is used in the city for the use of household, factories and shops. The waste water produced form the city is the shifted to the water treatment plant which is then drive to the sea. The water produced by the storms are directly allowed to the sea.
On the other hand the future water supply system, it can be seen from the diagram that dame is used to store the water this pure is supplied to the city and the uses of it in a city are same as before. Moreover, the storm water and waste water are released in to the water treatment plant which is purified in the plant and once again the pure water is taken in the city for the usage.
