Overall, it can be seen that the water supply system is mainly suggesting that how to recycle water are better for the environment.
Starting with the current water supply system, as can be clearly noticed that pure water is stored in a dam before transferring into the city which can be served for households, amenities, and industrial zone. After undergoing the water usage in the city, the stormwater will be directed straight into the river, whereas, the wastewater is sent to a water treatment plant to be processed, and is then released into the river to be safe.
Nevertheless, the new plan for this system is being launched which can be favourable to the ecosystem. The storage of pure water in a dam and its uses in the city will retain. A primary modification in a way for how to send pollutants water into the river as well. Both the stormwater and wastewater are experiencing to the water treatment plant. And ultimately, these waters are straight away into the river in the future.
