Your neighbors have a dog that is noisy at night. You can’t sleep. Write a letter to your neighbors. In your letter:
– describe the problem with the dog
– explain why it is important for you to sleep
– outline what your neighbors could do about the situation.
Dear Mrs. Greg,
My name is Jot and I am residing in the flat next to your flat. I am writing this to bring your attention to a problem that I have been facing because of your dog at night.
As you may be aware, your pet use to make different noises in the midnight. It is mostly running in your lawn and braking loudly. It makes me awake in the midnight and my sleep gets disturbed.
It would not be a problem, if I would not have appeared in my exams which are going to start next week. I have to awake early in the morning for studies and I need peaceful sleep at the right hours. This is a crucial time for me as it is my final semester and I need to work hard to attain higher grades.
I would like to request you please if possible ask some other family member to keep your dog for few weeks or till my exams are over or either keeps him inside the house and teaches him not to make noise in the night.
I would be looking forward to your action.
Yours Sincerely,
Jot
